白吃白痴:

Good post. A portrait of real life. Life isn’t easy.

zglnjzgy:

It was like this when I was a construction worker in Beijing too. This isn’t too bad. Back then we had Chinese doughnuts, corn, and porridge for breakfast. Lunch and dinner consisted of pork buns with very little pork and Chinese doughnuts.

canvjie:

Good, very real.

niutonghu100:

Please, this is already very luxurious for migrant workers. Many are in worse conditions…

viping-963:

For the prosperity of our country, migrant workers must endure hardship. They’re already lucky if they have work to do, food to eat, and aren’t cheated out of their wages. Of course, things are different if you’re a government official.

面不改色:

They’re the real builders [of the economy], salute.

zhaojintao88:

This is already comparable with commoners, but much too far away compared with officials.

鸦片就馒头:

Without education and a degree, [migrant workers] won’t have even this to eat if they don’t work. Besides, they make quite a bit of money. Do you see them in misery? I think louzhu‘s brain is impaired. Honestly, perhaps your level of happiness is not as high as that of these brothers and sisters. BS your show-off style. Don’t you see that they have meat along with vegetables?

haoeio:

There are many heart-wrenching moments behind the glamor, but why can’t some people see that commoners are struggling just to make a living? I want to say that they’re lucky not to have met any chengguan, or their lunches will be spilt over the asphalt!

火心天子:

Society needs people like this.

gzjjmy:

I recognize this, Shangbu Lu in Shenzhen, opposite of Sichuan Tower, the point isn’t food, but the heat.

fengyj1:

The food is average, are the beers provided or self-bought? I don’t mean anything, but nowadays many people are eating worse in their homes.

zhangchi254:

I’m interning at the Central Railway Fourth Bureau, just graduated. What we eat here is the same as them, sometimes even worse. Fuck, the leaders are too stingy to give us food. Whatever you do, don’t work for a government owned company. Leaders think only for themselves and never care if their subordinates are dead or alive. Private companies are much better, you can report them if there is a problem. But government owned companies are in cahoots with the officials, if you report them, then you can go home.

xiatian_4740:

LZ you don’t know anything. Do you know how many people are worse off than them in China? Never endured hardship yourself, don’t post pointless stuff like this.

yaomq76:

The builders of society’s riches are living worse than cows and horses, and their representatives are sitting in luxurious office towers receiving high pay, enjoying the air conditioning, trading stocks and playing games online. This is China.

卟離卟棄:

Government officials are pigs! Useless!

杜成輝:

The difference between one person and another is just that big. It’s sad thinking about it.

liuch2255:

The team of officials is very cute, commoners have done their duty, and supported the officials to be white, chubby, and napping in comfort…

cnxingyuan:

Often times they won’t receive the wages they earned.

以变应变:

火心天子:  Society needs people like this.

But does our country need people like this?
